AD 1628, the founder named Zhang Xiaoquan immigrated into Hangzhou city in Zhejiang province and specialized on knives and scissors to ensure that our premium blades are truly extraordinary with the traditional artisanship in family heritage and the finest steel from Longquan. Way back in the first year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty, It had been approved to register the Zhang Xiaoquan trademark with the Cutler's Guild of China owning to its high-quality knives and scissors. In the Republican periods, Zhang Xiaoquan took the first oversea trip and won Grand Award of Panama Pacific International Exposition in 1915. Today, Zhang Xiaoquan as National Intangible Cultural Heritages has become the most popular brand in China. The next 400 years will see us continuing to marry such form and function in our centuries-old home, the City of Blades.
